Have a look at the match played between MI Cape Town and Durban Super Giants which was also won by Super Giants by 5 wickets.
Presentation:
Player of the Match: Quinton de Kock(C)(DSG) Leading from the front and maintaining team morale were crucial. Waiting for the proper ball was all that was required. Being back up front, where I have batted my entire career, does feel nice. I’ve had some excellent fights with KG, and we’ll have more in the future. The victory was crucial for us, but we still have a lot of hard work to do and two more games to win. It is difficult to say because some teams have won by batting first and some teams have won by batting second. It all depends on how well you play tomorrow against Eastern Cape.
Rashid Khan(MICT): The total was respectable, but I thought we fell 15 to 20 runs short. We gave up runs in the first 10 overs as well, but we battled back well in the last few. We now have to prevail in our final contests. Every game is a must-win knockout if we want to finish in the top four. We shouldn’t put too much pressure on ourselves and just play shrewd cricket. Just focus on winning one game at a time and offer everything we’ve got. I believed that on that particular wicket, we could have scored 190.
“Super Giants received four points even though they are still at the bottom of the standings. As they are still one behind the team in fifth position, they will need a few bonus points to start worrying those right above them. De Kock’s 63 and Paul’s lightning-quick 31 set up the chase, and Breetzke made sure his team won by scoring a 48* of his own. In the end, the Durban team lost a few wickets, delaying their victory. Durban needed an unexpected victory, and they were able to maintain their optimism. A defeat would be devastating for Cape Town. Earlier, Cape Town had a sluggish start but eventually reached 165.”
