“The fact that both sides will share the points is good news for the opposing clubs. However, despite losing Roy right before it started to rain, the Royals believed they were in a strong position and had a chance to win this game. They got off to a fast start thanks to Buttler and Roy, and while the former left after a cameo, the latter carried on and reached his fifty. He had prepared the ground for someone like Miller to blow up; instead, it was the rain. It briefly stopped play twice, the second of which was more detrimental because it prevented play from continuing”.
