The Super Kings, who operate out of the Bullring in the centre of Gauteng, are poised to have a significant impact on the inaugural #SA20 season. Faf du Plessis, a well-respected figure on the global stage who has already had great success with the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, will serve as the team’s head coach. The Super Kings have also enlisted the help of coach Stephen Fleming as they attempt to expand on their existing strengths. Fleming, Du Plessis, and Chennai Super Kings Limited, the team’s owners, will be attempting to transfer the Chennai formula for success to the city of gold. Young guns like Gerald Coetzee are ones to watch out for.
