Presentation:

Player of the Match: Rilee Rossouw(PC) We talked about the left-handers and how I was the lone offspinner on the side, so that was always the idea. Yes, I bowl in important matches and semifinals and get wickets. was somewhat two-paced, and the new ball kind of moved up and down. After losing some steam in the middle, we made the decision to go deep, which paid off in the end. On that kind of track, 153 is between 160 and 170 in similar matches, but our bowlers made it.

David Miller(PR): It was agonizing. I believe we bowled well; a couple of our overs were costly, but that happens. It hurt us since we lost too many wickets while batting. They performed well up front despite the sticky wicket. 145 was probably average. Despite bowling well up until the final three overs, we failed to deliver. We accomplished well, but maintaining momentum is challenging. We had wins and losses, but generally, the season was successful. Great competition; a shame it finishes this way. On the day and in the final, it’s important to go out there and truly enjoy our moment while remaining composed. If things go our way, they will go our way.

Theunis de Bruyn(PC): I’m quite thrilled because this kind of pitching always ties teams together. I’m overjoyed to be in the final. You can expect fewer runs, which makes for a stressful game because you know there won’t be 220 on the scoreboard. Because of the level of expertise they had, they knew what to do in certain circumstances, so it was always going to be a scrappy affair. If you don’t bowl Rash for four overs, it will be obvious what it is, which is your engine room, and what wins you the trophies. I’m not sure. They are approaching it [on Wayne Parnell for the final] day by day.

“Pretoria keeps on running. They were the top team in this competition and have now advanced to the championship. Without them as well, their captain Wayne Parnell. Eathan Bosch caught Buttler’s huge fish with one that stayed low after Jason Roy went out early. All of the burdens were now on the others, and despite Paul Stirling’s threats, Rashid defeated him with a beautiful bowling strike. Surprisingly, Nortje’s early costs were high, but the others were frugal. Miller had too much work, and Vilas and Morgan left to pursue a start. The people further down the list didn’t contribute. Unexpectedly, Rossouw was handed an over, and at a vital moment, he secured Morgan’s crucial hit. In order to further weaken Paarl, Neesham took a few important wickets. Miller holed out off Nortje with 30 needed from 2 overs remaining. Paarl believes they could have pursued this amount if they had put in a little more effort in the beginning. Pretoria played exceptionally well on the field, while Ingram excelled at catching”.
